Salamander selects AVEVA for Enterprise Asset Management

AVEVA WorkMate supports maintenance and operation throughout the lifecycle of Salamander's global assets
Cambridge, UK - 20 September 2011: AVEVA (LSE:AVV), a leader in engineering design and information management solutions for the plant, power and marine industries announced today that Salamander Energy has selected AVEVA's Operations Integrity Management Solutions to improve operational effectiveness across multiple sites.
Salamander Energy, an Asia-focused independent exploration and production company, selected AVEVA WorkMate, AVEVA's Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution to be used across all of its operations in Indonesia and Thailand.
AVEVA WorkMate enables Owner Operators of all types of process plants to efficiently maintain and operate their assets throughout their entire lifecycle. WorkMate is a key element in the delivery of operational best practices that ensure safe operations, high reliability and low operating costs through management of work planning and execution, inspection management and programs and operational change management. Three principal capabilities also included are work permit management, risk assessment and safety analysis.
