| Sensa-LINX Wireless Communications System

Sensa-LINX provides an early warning and reporting capability for sensors to communicate detection, identification and geo-location data to a remote command post.
By using licence exempt radio frequencies, Sensa-LINX enables a 2-way communication between a C2 (command and control) post and remote sensors using repeaters if necessary to extend the range.
The C2 operator is able to interrogate and control the networked sensors remotely using the Sensa-LINX software. The user interface provides information that indicates the sensor''s health status and allows the operator to carry out actions such as muting the sensor''s alarm or control the brightness of the sensor display.
The software is capable of generating CBRN reports using an ATP 45 messaging format. In the event of an alert the C2 software will generate an audible and a visual alarm to notify the operator. The C2 application will also display the information available at the sensor display such as agent identified and dosage.
Sensa-LINX meets the requirements of MIL-STD 810G and IP67 which allows operation in the most challenging environmental conditions and is suitable for a wide range of military and civil applications.
Temporary Perimeter Protection
When expeditionary forces require temporary perimeter protection, Smiths Detection''s networked detectors can be strategically placed around the perimeter
of the protected area. In the event of a CBRNE incident, Sensa-LINX will provide an early warning of the imminent threat.
Surveillance and Reconnaissance
For use with dismounted soldiers undertaking reconnaissance and surveillance activities, Sensa-LINX enables 2-way communications between handheld
and wearable detectors and continuously transmits geo-referenced data to a nearby command post to provide real time situational awareness.
Emergency Responders
For high profile events, or in emergency response applications, Sensa-LINX provides an easy-to-use deployable solution that integrates data, either from temporarily
fixed-site sensors or from patrol personnel equipped with handheld or wearable sensors.
