| Bitruders - counter-rotating twin-screw extruders

Bitruders, the classic twin-screw extruders, are a permanent feature in the Reifenhäuser product program and are produced in a range of sizes that meets the demands of the market. Two types are available:
Counter-rotating conical twin screws
Counter-rotating parallel twin screws
Nitriding steels that have been precisely adapted to the specific application are used for the barrels and screws. Depending on the filling and reinforcement materials that are used in the extrusion process, special wear protection layers or armouring layers are integrated to combat the high resulting wear. PM-HIP technology can be used in the manufacturing of parallel twin-screw barrels. |
