Mitutoyo''s Quick Vision 3D CNC vision measuring systems are now provided as standard with the new version 10.0 of the QVPAK measuring software. It controls all relevant processes, such as light control, magnification or part programming.
The current version QVPAK 10.0 now introduced by Mitutoyo presents a host of new features and an even more intuitive operator guidance.
For example, the user interface can be freely split into windows that can then be dragged anywhere, resized, minimised, placed one atop the other or hidden as desired. Every user is thus able to custom-design his own individual screen setup on several screens, including widescreen displays - for example, to show the video image in full-screen mode.
QVEasyEditor with a part program representation in a visualized tree structure is another new feature. With it, part programs can be created, edited and executed with even more ease. Recording of part programs was also made considerably easier with QVPAK 10.0. Instead of first having to carry out the separate step of "learning" a part program in a separate mode, the software now goes directly into the recording mode every time it is started.
In the recording mode, the programs can be easily edited; each individual line can be opened by a double-click and edited. The advantage is that the user does not have to first leave the learning mode for editing - he can execute the lines he just edited or added right away for testing purposes.
The user guidance for the creation of loops, Cartesian or cylindrical, is another new capability. Thanks to the new graphical support, programming is now self-explanatory. And finally: if an edge detection error is found during repeat operation, the software will try to automatically compensate for it in the further measuring sequence, for instance by adapting the light intensity or tool options.
Newly shipped 3D CNC vision measuring systems are now equipped with the new software version. Furthermore, an upgrade of existing instruments to the current software version QVPAK 10.0 is also possible. |
