aflasAFLAS® Fluoroelastomers are the materials of choice for products and systems that work in tough environments and require high reliability. Alternating copolymers of tetrafluoroethylene and propylene, AFLAS imparts unique properties over conventional FKM-type fluoroelastomers. We offer three grades of AFLAS: 100 Series (High Strength, General Purpose Use), 150 Series (Extrusions, Linings and General Purpose Use) and Latex (Coatings or Binders).
The AFLAS 100 and 150 Series grades are easily compounded by open mill and internal mixers. These compounds are then fabricated into finished parts and shapes using press molding, injection molding, extrusion and calendaring processes. AFLAS parts can be found in the Oil & Gas, Chemical Processing, Heavy Duty Diesel, Automotive, Wire & Cable, Industrial, Food Handling and Pharmaceutical industries to name a few.
Our new AFLAS 200P specialty FKM maintains good base resistance and offers improved performance at cold temperatures. |
