| Medium ULTRA CR Corrosion Resistant Extruders

Medium ULTRA CR Corrosion Resistant extruders are fixed horizontal extruders ranging from 2" to 4" (100 mm) diameter, any L/D. They are ideally suited for processing high temperature corrosive fluoropolymer resins such as FEP and PFA. They may be mounted on wheels with or without track, with or without height adjustment. A wide range of options and cost effective customization is available.
Medium ULTRA CR Corrosion Resistant extruders feature:
Rigid base with leveling pads
Optional barrel support
Cast bronze heaters with high wattage and deep fins for fast cool down
Cast bronze, tight fitting shrouds for accurate temperature control
Full insulated stainless steel barrel shrouds
A second "dual layer" perforated hood for operator safety at high temperatures
Hot barrel air directed downward away from operator and panel instruments
Heavy duty double reduction gear reducer
Integral high quality, rear mounted thrust bearing
Feed section casting with full surround cooling to optimize process control and prevent heat transfer from barrel to gearbox
Stainless steel vertical feed section liner
Inconel or Hastelloy horizontal feed section liner
Unique "tri-metallic" barrel combines a low iron bi-metallic liner with solid Inconel corrosion protection for the transducer/rupture holes, breaker plate seat, and flange
Nickel plated heated single bolt clamp with titanium nitride coated hinge pins
Easy maintenance wire management system
Temperature controllers with automatic heater burn-out with audible alarm
Digital pressure indicator with automatic high pressure drive shut-down circuit
Multiple AC vector drive and motor brands to choose from |
