| Medium ULTRA Standard Extruders
|
|
Medium ULTRA extruders are fixed horizontal extruders ranging from 2.0" to 4.0" (or 100 mm) diameter, any L/D, vented or non-vented. ULTRA extruders are available with air-cooling or water-cooling. The standard ULTRA is well suited for all extrusion applications including pipe, tubing, custom profile, sheet, cast film, wire & cable, fiber, blow molding, etc. They may be mounted on wheels with or without track, with or without some limited height adjustment. A wide range of options and cost effective customization is available.
Medium ULTRA extruders feature :
Rigid base with leveling pads, lifting eyes, and fork pockets
Heavy duty double reduction gear reducer
Integral high quality spherical tapered thrust bearing
Feed section casting with full surround cooling and optional field replaceable feed liner
Deep finned cast aluminum, bolt-on heaters with tight fitting cast aluminum shrouds
High capacity barrel cooling with long life blowers (Turbo-Air blower optional)
Full surround, dual axis adjustment barrel support
Heavy duty heated single bolt clamp with titanium nitride coated hinge pins
Easy maintenance wire management system
Temperature controllers with automatic heater burn-out with audible alarm
Digital pressure indicator with automatic high pressure drive shut-down circuit
Multiple AC vector drive and motor brands to choose from |
