Pixargus GMBH Company  |  Products  |  News  |  Contact Us PCD-X360-4P for 4 profile multi strand extrusion System for inline measurement of up to 4 profiles simultaneously PCD-X360-4P is a profile measurement system for all extrusion profiles. The system captures the profile contour 2-5 times per second, aligns it with a reference drawing of the profile and measures all important shape features. The reference profile shape can either be imported from a CAD file, or it can be taken from a snap-shot of a running profile. The system is completely controlled via a 15" touchscreen and can be set up within seconds to a new profile. A very important feature is the robustness of the system. You can use it in the roughest environments and the measurement head can withstand even strong mechanical impacts, without the need for recalibration. Inline Measurements The current profile contour is automatically aligned with the reference profile. Predefined datum alignments can be used to ensure the profile is exactly aligned at the important contour parts before applying measurements. The results of these measurements and the deviation of the standard value is shown in labels on the screen. The labels are color coded, where a green color stands for measurements that are within the tolerance, yellow is for the warning tolerance zone and red is used where the measured value is exceeding the scrap tolerance. All measurement values are also shown is on the screen in trend graphs.
